What can you store at Boxly Self-Storage?
Our storage rooms are valued and rented by private and commercial customers for storing a wide variety of items because the storage conditions are optimal. In contrast to the garage or basement, the storage rooms at Boxly have a constant climate all year round and are clean and dry, so that even more delicate items such as textiles or archives can be stored without any problems.
Examples of items that are frequently stored:
- Furniture, carpets
- Electrical appliances, household appliances
- Clothing
- Books, CDs, DVDs, toys
- Office furnishings
- Documents and archives
- Goods and products for webshops
- Collections, collectibles
- Sports equipment (skis, sledges, fishing rods, bicycles, inflatable boats)
- Items used seasonally: Christmas decorations, carnival costumes, garden furniture, tents
- Party benches, party decorations
Which items may not be stored?
There are things that must not be stored as they may affect the safety of users. The complete list can be found in Article 3 H&I of our General Terms and Conditions (GTC).
Here is a (non-exhaustive) excerpt from the list:
- dangerous, toxic, irritant, highly flammable and combustible, explosive, oxidizing, asbestos-containing, radioactive or corrosive objects, materials and substances (e.g. no flammable liquids, petrol, liquid gas, gas cylinders, etc.)
- Perishable, smelly or damp objects and substances
- Items that interfere with the use of other customers
- all items that require legally prescribed storage conditions
- all items whose possession is prohibited by law
